Last year's inaugural event was a huge success. It was incredibly inspiring to see the awesome work capacity of the older athletes in our community. Like last year, we are starting the age groups at 35 years old. We will go up in 5 year increments until age 60, and that final age group will be 60+.
The programming will be challenging, but inclusive, and the weights will scale down as the age groups go up. This year we will have 5 different scored events taking place over the 2 days of competition.
We have raised the number of competitors from 180 athletes to 210. Since there is a lack of master's events in CrossFit, there will be many athletes coming from throughout the US to compete in this event. Please don't procrastinate. Last year this event sold out in 5 days. It would be surprising if this year it didn't sell out in two.
Potential movements and maximum weights
You can download the complete list of required movements and weights below. Remember, the weights listed are the maximum weights that you will be required to perform in a timed workout. The weights that we actually use could be less than the weight listed. But you should be capable of performing those movements with the listed weights.
And remember, the wall ball height is 10 feet. If you currently throw to a shorter target, you may want to make that change now.

The great thing about knowing the requirements in January is that you can spot any holes in your fitness and work on them for the next ten months.
